I've just watched an interesting documentary broadcast by the BBC about Muslims (resident in the UK) converting to Christianity (did any body else happen to see it?). Some of the converts have been subject to violent attacks by other Muslims who disapprove with the conversion. I wonder what people thought about this given that many widely available Islamic texts actively encourage violent acts to those who apostatise.
Please cite the specific "Islamic texts" that "actively encourage violent acts to those who apostatise."
What is the "Supreme" Islamic Text?
Does IT "actively encourage violent acts to those who apostatise"?
If you answer "yes", please cite specific references.

hello mack,
can you provide reference to that video
Hmm, never saw it, but I'd imagine most people will respect an individuals choise. You're always going to have extremists in every religion.
Let me tell you one moe thing, In Nigeria and right under the noses of authorities the UNICEF has undertaken the task to fly to US after converting to Christianity. I used to work for that person and upon knowing I quit the job, as he was a Moslem convert to Christianity.
But most amazing thing is that almost all Christians who convert to Islam are highly educated people like scholars, poets, clerics, doctors, news anchors etc.
